First Rescue Horses Arrive at the Ranch

Today marks a monumental step for the Veterans Rescue Ranch. We have officially welcomed our first three rescue horses—Apollo, Ranger, and Chief—to our newly built stables.

These horses, much like the veterans we serve, have faced their own hardships. Through our Equine-Assisted Therapy program, veterans will work closely with them, learning trust, emotional regulation, and patience. The bond between a veteran and a horse is profound; it requires presence, calmness, and mutual respect.

Our first cohort of veterans will begin working with the horses next week under the guidance of our certified equine specialists. We want to extend a massive thank you to the community donors who made the construction of our stables possible. This is just the beginning of restoring warriors and rebuilding lives.
